At Lake Walter E. Long Metropolitan Park you'll find some of Austin's best fishing in the park's 1200 acre man-made lake.  Head to the south shore for boat and bank fishing where a launch is provided for your convenience.  Runners will enjoy the beautiful scenery along the surrounding roads.  Picnic and  grill facilities are available.  The park is open year-round.
