Lake Livingston at duskLake Livingston is one of the largest lakes in Texas with 90,000 acres and over 450 miles of shore line. The lake is 39 miles long, 7 miles wide at it's widest point, and has a maximum depth of 77 feet. The shoreline is heavily treed, relatively flat, and well developed with a variety of lake homes ranging from trailers to million dollar estates.

Livingston is very popular with over 5,000 campsites, 100 boat ramps, and some sandy beaches - all of which make it very good for camping, boating, jet skiing, and fishing.

If you're going fishing on Lake Livingston, why not stay in a cedar cabin overlooking the lake. These cabins sleep up to four people and feature a pillow top queen sized mattress with high thread count sateen linens, a full equipped kitchen, a set of bunk beds, and bathroom with a tub and shower. Plus they have Wi-Fi, cable TV, picnic table, BBQ grill, and a porch with two rocking chairs!   In addition to fishing you can enjoy the Resort amenities, some of which include: a sandy beach, hot tub, boat ramp, swimming pool, fitness room, kayak rentals, sand volleyball, splash park, lake swimming and beach area, and lots more. If you do go fishing, Lake Livingston is known for it's large population catfish and white bass plus great fishing for stripers, black bass, crappie, and sunfish.
