Creek Lodge - (800) 864-4705 Rough Creek Lodge is a premiere facility for business executives and leisure travelers creating a relaxing and isolated environment with an aura of rustic elegance. Rough Creek Lodge creates a relaxing and isolated environment, maintaining harmony with the surrounding trees, lakes and rolling hills. Features include fishing, heated pool and sauna, a fitness center, therapeutic massages and game hunting. Room rates range from $275 (standard deluxe) to $1,200 (the presidential suite). An executive resort Rough Creek Lodge also caters to companies offering conference facilities, meeting rooms and a relaxed environment for planning future business endeavors. The Lodge at Fossil Rim - (254) 897- 2960 A bed and breakfast for those seeking something more adventurous, or something unique, accommodations are available at the elegant, antique-filled Lodge at Fossil Rim. The Lodge provides five bedrooms to choose from. Two bedrooms (at $125 per night) with a shared bathroom; two on the second level are $150 and $175 per night with private bath and Jacuzzi; the master bedroom on the third floor (at $225 a night) features a fireplace and Jacuzzi tub. The Foothills Safari Camp - (254) 897-4933 For something more rustic, the deluxe hardwalled tents at the Foothills Safari Camps are $150 a night (for two) and include breakfast. To get there, turn left onto County Road 2010 off Highway 67 about a half mile beyond the Wildlife Center sign. For reservations, call Nature Escapes at (254) 897-4933. In the off-season, three to four week's notice is recommended. In the spring and summer months, reservations six to eight weeks in advance are suggested.
