Brackenridge Park The park features recreational facilities, pavilions, picnic benches, and several miles of horseback, and jogging trails. If you need a horse, the Brackenridge stables can rent you a horse and even provide you with a guide.
Eisenhower Park Eisenhower Park covers 318 acres and offers facilities for hiking, picnicking, primitive camping, and nature study. Approximately 5 miles of well-marked hiking trails are available, including the paved and wheelchair-accessible Cedar Flats and Yucca trails.
Friedrich Wilderness Park Friedrich Park is a typical Texas Hill Country area, perfect for observing both wildlife and plant life in their natural environment.
McAllistar Park McAllister Park is a 856-acre wooded suburban park with approximately 7 miles of hiking and bicycling trails available, including the wheelchair-accessible 1.5 mile Hike and Bike Trail.
San Antonio Missions National Historical Park Roadways connect each site in this essentially urban park. A hike and bike trail partially connects each mission site, paralleling the San Antonio River in some places.
