Barefoot Bay Marina is a family-friendly resort & RV park owned by Don Talley and Dana Deason. The newly-renovated resort features cabins and an RV park with full RV hook ups (both 30 and 50 AMP). There are five 1 bedroom cabins and one 2 bedroom cabin, tent camping, a marina with gasoline, plus covered boat slips and bait. They also feature lakeside sites, free Wi-Fi, recently renovated bathrooms, with hot showers, laundromat, volleyball court, horseshoes, swimming, a well stocked convenience store selling beer and wine, and a new 1,500 square foot Sports Bar & Grill. They are open Monday thru Thursday, 6am to 10pm, Fridays until midnight and Saturdays until 1am March thru November and 7am to 8pm December thru February, 7 days a week.

Lake Bob Sandlin is a beautiful lake and a fisherman's paradise. According to a local fishing guide that has guided this lake 20 years, Lake Bob Sandlin offers the best angling opportunity of any lake in Texas.

The Mt. Pleasant Regional airport is only 15 minutes away, and it is a first class airport and boasts a 5000 foot runway, in fact it was "Texas Airport of the Year" in 2005.
