Comments: Lake LBJ Resort & Marina is tucked into the end of a peaceful cove on the Sunrise Beach arm of Lake LBJ. They are primarily a Resort that has a marina with a ships store, boat sales, and boat rentals. The marina sells gas, beer and wine, ice, basic fishing and boating staples, and snacks. The rent jet skis, tubes, ski boats, and pontoon boats at reasonable prices.
Next to the marina is an excellent restaurant, Boater's Bistro, that serves lunch and dinner on a well appointed deck on the water. Stop by for lunch which includes 100% Angus Sirloin burgers, Bratwurst, brisket, chicken sandwiches, and more. Boater's Bistro is a perfect place to enjoy fine dining and a casual atmosphere on the water. Dinner includes a salad, entree (steak, chops, or lobster), and desert - reservations are required.
Lake LBJ Resort & Marina has 5 suites that vary in size from the 600 square foot Romantic Getaway Suite to the three bedroom 2200 square foot LBJ Presidential Suite that sleeps 15. The suites are on a hillside with a view of the cove and marina. There is a pool, kids playground, and large deck with BBQ grill.
