Rustic Creek Ranch Cottages

If you're looking for something unique, cozy, upscale, reasonably priced, and close to lots of fun things to see and do, then you need to check out Rustic Creek Ranch and stay in one of their Cottages. We spent an enjoyable weekend at Rustic Creek Ranch and were impressed with the facilities, the cottages, and the friendly helpful staff.

When we walked in, both of our jaws dropped and a couple "Wows" came out. It felt like we had just walked into a bedroom in a million dollar model home. We also got more "Wows" as we explored our double room at RV Ranch. The decor was tastefully done in a rustic Spanish/Western/Cowboy/Southwestern theme, everything seemed new and state of the art, and the room was impeccable clean.

The spacious cottage (??? square feet) has a lot of little things that add up quickly to make it special, unique, and worth another stay, some of which included:

• some of the softest fluffiest beds we have slept in with comforters and not just one each but two soft fluffy pillows each plus a spare - these beds immediately put the five star Westin Resort's "heavenly beds" in second place
• textured walls with unique and different fixtures and decorations - for example a mirrored antique door hanging on the wall or clay vases of different shapes and sizes on the mantle as well as a tall shelf along the ceiling
• large white Austin stone floor to ceiling gas fireplace with a cool wood mantle
• 42 inch flat screen TV with DVD with speakers and Direct HD TV
• microwave, coffee maker with pottery coffee mugs (not those cheap paper cups), upscale refrigerator plus free peanuts, crackers, and microwave butter popcorn
• a desk with multiple, easy to reach plugs, plenty of workspace, free internet, phone, and a comfy chair
• cowhide and leather chairs and a table - our adjoining room with two doubles also had a very nice leather lounge chair and ottoman
• plenty of closet, counter, and drawer space including multiple clothes hooks
• and the room even came with that new rawhide cowboy leather smell - how do they keep that fresh?

And then there is the roomy bathroom that seems more like a bathroom in a guest room at a very upscale house instead of in a small cottage in a great RV park. It was also well done and nicely appointed with a huge jacuzzi tub, stand alone shower, large soft fluffy towels, hair dryer, and telescoping mirror.

When you stay in one of these custom built cottages, you also have full access to all of the amenities of Rustic Creek Ranch, some of which include: an adult pool and hot tub, family pool with a kiddie pool, playground, 4 fantastic meeting facilities, and more. Plus you are close to lots of fun things to see and do in Fort Worth and Burleson like golf, shopping, restaurants, museums, amusement parks, Cowboy Stadium, the Ranger's Ballpark, and lots more.
