Guadalupe River

Lazy L & L Campground has three quarters of a mile of river frontage on the beautiful Guadalupe River with plenty of sites for your next RV rally. They are well suited for large RV rallies because of their big rigs parking. They offer lots of amenities for you to enjoy.

Lazy L&L Campground is close to several other fun things to see and do like Gruene, New Braunfels, and Canyon Lake. One of the most frequent comments about Lazy L & L Campground is how clean and well maintained the facilities and grounds are.

Sites: 214 total sites that are a mixture of tent and RV’s. Site offer full hook-ups, pull-through and back-in with 30/50 amp services. Some tent and RV sites are on a bank overlooking the Guadalupe River, but don’t worry if those sites are full all visitors have access to the river.

Meeting Facilities: a 2,100 square foot Recreation Hall, complete with kitchen, tables, chairs, pool table, shuffleboard, fireplace, satellite TV and restrooms. In addition, there are three open air pavilions (20×30) and another meeting room (18×20) centrally located which are excellent for separate forums. There is a larger pavilion complete with dance floor, bandstand, restrooms and showers.

Catering is available upon request.

Amenities: tubes and rafts include a shuttle service, sand volleyball court, horseshoe pits, free WiFi, dump station, 3 small cabins and a 2 bedroom house for rent all next to a well stocked store.

Near By Activities: the cool and clear Guadalupe River is excellent for tubing, rafting, swimming, and fishing plus nearby Canyon Lake is one of the deepest and clearest in Texas. Let’s not forget the historic town of Gruene. Gruene is a small quaint town with one of the oldest dance halls in Texas. If that wasn’t enough check out the shops and restaurants and be prepared for plenty of live music.

Rio Guadalupe Resort

If you’re looking for a new RV rally location in the Texas Hill Country, then you should consider Rio Guadalupe Resort. It’s located just a short distance from Gruene and Canyon Lake, but better yet it has cabins and RV sites on the bank of the beautiful Guadalupe River.

The RV Resort sits on a quarter mile of the Guadalupe River. Rio Guadalupe Resort can accommodate large RV rigs. You won’t find a friendlier staff.

Sites: 52 full hook-up with pull throughs, most with 30/50 amp service, picnic tables, grass, and some shade. Two 30 amp sites are overlooking the Guadalupe plus there are 21, one to three bedroom riverfront cabins.

Meeting Facilities: a meeting room is available.

Amenities: rafts, tubes, inflatable canoes, and sit-on-top kayaks are available for rent plus a shuttle service to take you upriver for a float back to the Resort. A pool, volleyball court, horseshoes, laundry facilities, hot showers, and free WiFi are included.

Near By Activities: Fishing, swimming or tubing the Guadalupe River and when that’s done move over to the beautiful Canyon Lake, less than 5 miles away to do it again. The town of Gruene and New Braunfels are nearby. Where you can enjoy some great music at Whitewater Amphitheater or River Road Ice House.

Buckhorn Lake Resort

Buckhorn Lake Resort is a fantastic RV Resort with good sites, excellent amenities, and a friendly staff – and it’s not surprising that Buckhorn Lake Resort was rated 10/10/10 by Good Sam and that it made Texas Outside’s list of the Best RV Parks in Texas.

There are a variety of sites all of which are paved with grass on both sides and the Resort is well maintained and clean. Buckhorn Lake Resort can prepare breakfast, lunch and dinner for larger groups. They offer a stage with commercial lighting and sound equipment for your band. This stage has welcomed artists such as John Conlee, Suzy Boguss, Moe Bandy and Johnny Rodriguez.

With it’s location and all if it’s amenities Buckhorn Lake RV Resort is a perfect place for a fun RV rally. We spent a couple days at Buckhorn Lake RV Resort for a Thomas Michael Riley Festival and loved it.

Sites – 131 full hook-up sites that are a mixture of long, up to 90′, pull throughs, back-ins, and pull-ins.

Cottages – three fully furnished cottages with a private bedroom and beds to sleep up to 6 and each has a private covered patio overlooking Swan Island.

Meeting Facilities – The Big Red Barn or “Rally Hall” is 8,000 square feet offering room for up to 300 of your closest RV Rally friends. Included is a covered patio, BBQ area, and complete catering. Attached is a smaller “social room” that will accommodate 20 to 40 people for those VIP parties.

Pools – two pools and two whirlpool spas.

Other Amenities – Saturday morning breakfast, tennis courts, pond with catch and release fishing, free cable TV and WiFi, country store, adult only section, dog park, fitness center, and a full theatre which seats 37.

Nearby Activities – Buckhorn Lake Resort is centrally located to lots to see and do in Borne, Kerrville, Fredericksburg, and Bandera where you’ll find shopping, golf courses, kayaking, fishing, nightlife, hiking, biking, and more.
