Fort Anahuac Park

Fort Anahuac offers waterfront camping where you can fish from the lighted pier, play ball in the park, bird watching in the marshes, or simply stretch out and relax. This 40 acre park has tent and RV sites and RVs must be self contained - there are no bathroom facilities. The park also has trash cans located throughout the grounds.

Fritch Fortress Campground

Lake Meredith

Fritch Fortress

This campground sits atop a cliff overlooking Lake Meredith with stunning views and amazing sunsets. The campground has many amenities such as covered pavilions, picnic tables, grills, modern restrooms with hot showers and toilets. The entrance to the park has a dump station and fresh water.

Magnolia Beach City Park

Port Lavaca

Magnolia Beach City Park

It's nice to camp on the beach and watch the waves roll into your “front yard.” It has no hook ups but they do have bathroom & shower facility. It's very peaceful, clean and not very crowded. It might get a little windy during your stay. This is definitely peaceful beach camping with enough space to spread out and have some privacy.

North Beach

Padre Island National Seashore

North Beach

This is great unique camping overlooking the Gulf of Mexico. You must monitor high tide and be ok with getting your RV salty. A few miles in the park you can dump and there is water at the entrance to Malequite Campground. There are also free showers at the park headquarters.

Bolivar Flats Free Beach

Bolivar Peninsula

Bolivar Flats Free Beach

Bolivar Flats is very much like North Beach but closer access to town just outside of Galveston. The sand is hard packed which makes it easy for RVs and travel trailers to drive and park on the sand.

Silverton Municipal Park

Siverton

Silverton

Sliverton Municipal Park is in the town of Silverton (population less than 1000) which is a charming spot to enjoy some great mom and pop restaurants such as Something Different by Kay. The park provides free electricity and water!
