The Retreat Golf Course Community Review

Golf Community is unequivocally one of the best golf communities in Texas and it is the perfect place to escape the hustle and bustle of the city, enjoy country living, excellent golf, great community amenities, and friendly folks. Native Americans and early pioneers first settled here because of the serene beauty, access to the Brazos River, and abundant wildlife. Today, this private gated community is popular because it still offers what the pioneers were looking for as well as it is away from the traffic and noise of the city and it's home to a stunning golf course and upscale amenities. It is close enough to give you easy access to medical centers, shopping for everything from groceries to upscale clothing, cultural and sporting centers, excellent restaurants, and special events. What a fantastic place for investment property, a primary residence, retirement home, or vacation getaway home.

Stunning Championship Golf

Location is extremely important, but to some of us, an excellent golf course that's scenic, fair yet very challenging, provides lots of unique variety, has excellent conditions and near perfect Bent grass greens, is a blast to play, and is one that you want to showcase to all your friends is the most important criteria when looking for a golf course community. The Retreat golf course excels in all of that and more. With five sets of tee boxes and yardages from 5009 to over 7000 yards, The Retreat provides an option for golfers of all levels and allows you to determine how demanding you want your round to be. With a rating of 126 to 145, The Retreat will throw a lot at you that makes playing this course a little different each time you play it. You'll encounter elevated tee boxes, forced carries, plenty of strategically placed bunkers, rolling fairways, water, blind shots, risk reward opportunities, and dog legs.

The only way to play this course is if you're a property owner (every property owner is a member of the golf course) or playing with a member.
