First Ever NewellFest - For The Love Of The Musicians!

Per Gary & Charlene Newell, "We have been searching for a way to support our Texas Country Music Artists who rely on their talents to pay the bills.  We decided to hold a benefit on May 22nd & 23rd, 2020 and call it the 1st Ever Newellfest.  All proceeds will go to the artists. As you can imagine, it’s not easy to put together a festival in less than 30-days but it appears everything is falling into place!" Here are some details on the festival. Tickets For Newellfest

You can purchase tickets through Venmo (@primetimeEnt) or PayPal ([email protected]). The verification code, if asked is Gary Newell. Your Paypal/Venmo receipt will be your ticket. Checks may be made payable to Primetime Enterprises and mailed to: 422 Stone Mountain Court, Cresson, TX 76035. Or email Gary Newell <[email protected]> for ticket information. All proceeds will go directly to the artists.

  • One camper, tent, or vehicle for overnight sleeping plus 2 tickets - $100
  • Individual ticket which is good for both days - $30

Newellfest Times & Location & Lodging

The gate opens at 9:00 a.m. Friday, May 22 and May 23. The music starts late afternoon on Friday and Saturday and will end at approximately mid-night. Exact times will be announced soon. BYOB and lawn chairs!

Newellfest will by held at Star Ranch -19200 South Hwy 377, Cresson, Texas. The festival area is a basically level, mowed pasture with plenty of space available and room for social distancing. Dry camping is available for campers or tenting and generators are welcome. Vehicle day parking will be in a separate designated area.

Lodging is available at the Scottish Inn, 9120 East Hwy 377, Cresson, TX 76035 - 817 396-4480. The Scottish Inn is two miles from Star Ranch. Please call the Scottish Inn directly (do not book through their website or any travel apps) and be sure to mention Star Ranch.

Sponsors Needed

For a minimum $250 donation, your logo or name will be on the festival t-shirt and multiple announcements from the stage will be made thanking you for your sponsorship.  If you happen to have a banner for your company, it can be displayed on the festival grounds. Your generous donation will show our mutual appreciation for these artists. 

This event is being held at the Star Ranch in Cresson, Texas.  There will not be a backstage or VIP area.

Social Distancing & More

SOCIAL DISTANCING! Star Ranch has a vast amount of reasonably level, freshly mowed area for this event. It will be your choice as to how close you want to be to other campers and participants. We want everyone to stay safe and respect social distancing during this event. We recommend facial coverings, courteous spacing and consideration of others. There will be no backstage or VIP areas. Visiting areas with artists will be at their discretion. Merchandise will be sold with social distancing protocol.

MISCELLANEOUS! Golf carts and ATV’s are allowed. Port-a-potties will be provided and vendors will be on-site
