Texas is home to some of the best wineries in the United States. In fact, the Hill Country with its wine trails of distinct and award winning wineries, each with its own distinctive personality, is now second only to Napa Valley California in production of wines. There are over 30 wineries in the Hill Country for you to enjoy.

Visit one of these Texas Wine Trails and sample some excellent wine from several different wineries. Or sign up for one of the great wine tours listed on our Texas Wine Tours Page.

So why not spend a fun afternoon discovering the people, culture, and wines in any of the many Texas Wineries! Take one of the many Texas wine trails and visit several wineries in an afternoon.

Most wineries host tastings of newly released wines, wine and food pairings, seminars, demonstrations, and tours. You might be able also meet some vintners during the tours. Many of the wineries also offer music or music festivals with their tastings. A good example is the Dripping With Taste Wine, Food & Arts Festival in Dripping Springs – held in the heart of the Texas Hill Country. Visit Texas Outside’s Dripping Springs page to wineries, breweries, distilleries, and more fun things to see and do.
