Lake Conroe Map
Lake Conroe is about 40 miles north of Houston and it is a great lake for cruising (beautiful homes), fishing, skiing, and just dropping an anchor and relaxing in the cool water on a hot day. Lake Conroe has fun restaurants and bars that you can boat up to, great golf courses, plus good campgrounds, resorts, and lodging on the water. Extending 21 miles in length and covering 21,000 surface acres, Lake Conroe is lined with homes of all sizes and other businesses on most of the lake. The far north side of the lake is mostly trees and a few homes.
