Casino Del Sol Resort and Golf Course
Arizona & California - I hate cold weather and to escape the cold Texas winter, we packed the motor home and set off on a 4 week vacation to Arizona and California where we camped in the snow, played 15 golf courses all of which we rated a nine or above, stayed in three fantastic Arizona resorts, spent a week in Palm Springs, and had lots more fun.
The Slot Hike In Borrego Springs
Arizona (Tucson & Phoenix) and Palm Spring Winter Vacation - to get away to some warm weather we stopped in Arizona for six days and Palm Springs for fourteen. We enjoyed several hikes, rode bikes, played seven different golf courses, took a mine tour, had a fun New Years Eve bar hopping in a quaint mining town, attended a couple films at a film festival, and a lot more fun things.

Paragliding off 11,000 Aspen Mountain

Aspen & Snowmass - four days of fantastic hiking with unbelievable views in the Colorado mountains, some fun scenic biking along the Roaring Fork River to a well know bar for margaritas (and a taxi ride back to Aspen, golfed at a very scenic, fun and challenging course, and jumped off the top of Aspen Mountain and paraglided 3000' feet to the bottom - what a thrill.
The Springs Resort
Beaver Creek & Pagosa Springs Vacation - we escaped the 100 degree temperature and headed to Colorado for 10 days of fun in Beaver Creek and Pagosa Springs. We biked a couple times, rode ATVS, soaked in geothermal hot pools, and went white water rafting, tubing, kayaking, and golfing. What a fun and adventurous trip with perfect 75 degree temperatures.
Borrego Springs
Borrego Springs Vacation - if you like the desert, then Borrego Springs is the place to go for excellent camping, hiking, golfing, and adventures. We were shocked that there were three great golf courses in this small funky town and one of the best RV parks (with it's own 9 hole course) we have ever visited. In addition, there are hundreds of miles for hiking, biking, and off roading. And the off road tour was awesome. Read all about it.
Isla Mujeres
Cancun & Isla Mujeres, Mexico Vacation - 4 days on Isla Mujeres in a luxury 6 bedroom villa on the beach and 4 more days at an all inclusive resort loaded with amenities in Cancun. We played golf on three courses; watched fire dancers, a circus, and a Michael Jackson show; sailed on a 40' catamaran; bar hopped; ate and drink way too much (how could you not when it's free); snorkeled: bar hopped; explored Isla Mujeres on golf carts; paddled some kayaks and stand-up paddleboards; and lots more.

Colorado Ski Vacation - what a fun seven days in Colorado skiing several ski areas (Copper Mountain, Vail, and Beaver Creek), snowmobiling through the powder and trees, cross county skiing to dinner in a yurt, zooming down the mountain on a snowbike, enjoying a dinner and a sleigh ride on a working Colorado Ranch, and much more. A fun filled week.

Copper Mountain Colorado Summer Vacation - we had an action packed great time for six days in Copper Mountain Colorado. Copper Mountain is perfect for a family vacation because within a two minute walk of the village center there are over 10 fun things for kids and adults to do, ranging from bungee jumping to a 5000 feet long alpine slide to a Ninja course. In addition, within an hour's driver there are plenty of exciting adventures and sights to see. We rode bikes, went white water rafting, played 18 holes of golf, and took a fun ATV/RZR self guided ride up to 12,000 feet and magnificent views. Click on the link to read the article.

Costa Rica Vacation - wow what a fantastic vacation to a beautiful country filled with friendly and outgoing people. We stayed at two award winning hotels (one of which is rated in the top hotels in the world), went zip lining 3 times, enjoyed some great meals, rappelled down waterfalls, body surfed at the beach, rode horses, played in some hot springs, went white water rafting, and lot more

Gulf Shores & Orange Beach Alabama Vacations - we've vacationed in Gulf Shores and Orange Beach (bordering towns) several times and can't wait to get back again. The weather is great, the locals are friendly, the beaches are pure white with turquoise warm water, the 30 nearby golf courses are excellent, the beach bars and restaurants are fantastic, and there are lots of other fun things to see and do ranging from flyboarding to kayaking to scuba diving. Keystone Resort in Colorado
Keystone Resort Spring Break Vacation - wow, what a fantastic place to spend a week in March skiing, tubing, eating, drinking, and having a good time. In addition to all of that we took a fun and very scenic snow cat ride to the top of a peak and had fun in a huge beautiful ice castle. Keystone was perfect for the grand kids offering lots to do (several activities, night skiing, tubing, snow fort, etc.) and with two nights lodging at the Resort, kids under 12 ski free!
Zip line in Puerto Vallarta
Nuevo Vallarta Mexico Vacation - we had a blast in Nuevo Vallarta golfing on three different very good golf courses, a fun ATV and zipline tour into the Sierra Madre mountains, a stay at a great resort with lots of amenities, and eating and drinking way too much.
Lake of the Ozarks Golf Course
Lake of the Ozarks Vacation - wow, what a fantastic spot for a vacation. We played 6 of the 14 courses on the Lake of the Ozarks Golf Trail, stayed in three great resorts, spent time boating on the 1150 miles of shoreline of beautiful Lake of the Ozarks, toured a cave, did a lot of bar hopping, had some excellent meals, and spent time at a couple wineries!
Houseboating on Lake Powell
Lake Powell Houseboating Vacation - it just doesn't get any better than spending a week on a houseboat on Lake Powell with family and friends. The scenery is unbelievable, the houseboat has all the amenities you need for a comfortable and fun week, and the hiking is excellent as is the fishing, the boarding, the boating into narrow towering canyons, the cliff jumping, and lots more.

Myrtle Beach Vacation - what a busy and fun seven days where we played 198 holes of golf on several Golf Digest Top 100 Courses plus found some time to rent jet skis for a fun couple hours, go to three different productions/shows, have fun racing cars, cruise the Inland Waterway on a pontoon boat, visit a sculpture garden, fly over Myrtle Beach in a helicopter, bike along the boardwalk and enjoy a lot of the local beach bars!

New Mexico's Santa Fe Golf Trail Vacation - if you like golfing some excellent golf courses and staying in some great resorts, most of which have casinos and spas and good restaurants and pools and more, than this article should be of interest to you.

Our week's vacation included 180 holes of golf on 8 eight fantastic courses, four outstanding resorts, three casinos, and lots more fun.

New Mexico Summer Vacation - to escape the 100 degree Texas summer heat, we headed to Northern New Mexico and spent nine days Red River and Angel Fire. What a fun filled vacation with a 3 day music festival, renting a Kawasaki mule for a ride up the mountains, rafting down the Rio Grande River, zip lining from peak to peak, playing 18 holes of golf, riding ATVs up and down some bone jarring trails, and more.

Orlando Vacation - seven days in the amusement capital of the world where we swam with the manatees, fly a WWII fighter trainer, drove an Indy Car 140 miles an hour, sky dived in a wind tunnel, parasailed, saw gators on an airboat ride, played nine golf courses, and more!

Palm Springs Vacation - Palm Springs offers lots of see and do - we went hiking, took a jeep tour, lost some money at the casinos, saw a polo match, and played some fantastic golf courses.

Panama City Beach Vacation - to escape the cold Texas winter, bask in the sun, play in sand, golf a lot, and take in the sights, it was off to Panama City Beach for a New Years Eve vacation

Golfing In Scottsdale - this vacation was dedicated to golfing (we played 150 holes in 6 days!) but we also found time for hot air ballooning, kayaking the Salt River, exploring Sedona and Jerome, off-road jeeping, and sliding down the river chutes at Slide Rock.
Skiing vacation in Keystone Resort
Spring Break Vacation To Keystone Resort - we had a fantastic family spring vacation at Keystone Resort. We skied, took a fun snow cat adventure, a trip through an ice castle, a few hours of tubing down the mountain, the kids had a blast night skiing (and kids under 11 ski free with 2 nights of lodging at Keystone), and we enjoyed some great food and some fun bars. Sedona Red Rocks
Staying & Playing in Sedona - wow, what a fantastic place to enjoy nature, the outdoors, and stunning scenery. And there are lots of fun things to see and do ranging from hot air balloons to climbing to off road jeep tours to slipping down water shoots. Plus unique lodging, good restaurants, and friendly people.
Kayaking the Roaring Fork River in Snowmass
Snowmass Vacation - we used a wedding in Snowmass as our excuse to spend a few extra days in Snowmass enjoying all that it and Aspen have to offer. We attended a rodeo, drifted over the mountains in a hot air balloon, hiked a number of trails, kayaked down the Roaring Fork River, and biked around Aspen.
