  • Fischer Fest Music Festival - Fischer - a fantastic 3 day music festival with a great line-up (bluegrass, Americana, folk, country), a small group of friendly music loving fans, a cool venue, free camping across the street, and $2 beer
  • Spring Branch RV Park - Spring Branch - a very nice RV park that is close to lots of fun things to see and do - caves, golf, jet skis, canoeing, zip line, bars, restaurants, attractions, and lots more
  • The Club of Rebecca Creek Review - Spring Branch - a pretty traditional and straight forward course with tree lined fairways, reasonable rates, and pretty good conditions
  • Trout Fishing in Texas State Parks - here is a list of some of the State Parks with stocked trout fishing and most of them have loaner tackle and don't require a fishing license

  • A Fun Spring Break in Gulf Shores Alabama - wow, we had a blast in Gulf Shores - some fun adventures, great beach bars, and excellent restaurants
  • Go Kart Racing - Gulf Shores - we had a fun day at The Track racing go karts and playing miniature golf during our Spring Break Vacation To Gulf Shores

  • Northshore Country Club - Portland - wow, what a fun and unique layout with some holes that play along the Corpus Christi Bay and may make you think you're playing in Hawaii
  • River Bend Resort Golf Club - Brownsville - 6 holes play beside the Rio Grande River plus good variety, reasonable rates, and some fun holes
  • Brownsville Golf Center - Brownsville - water on every hole, some tough approach shots, several good holes, and a $20 green fee with cart
  • Monte Cristo Golf Club - Edenburg - water on 11 holes, some nasty grass bunkers, straight ahead holes, good greens, and low rates make this course worth playing

RV Parks

  • Camping in the Rio Grande Valley
    Sea Breeze RV Park - Portland - nice RV park on the bay and 10 minutes from downtown Corpus Christi
  • Padre Island KOA - South Padre Island - this is one of our favorite RV parks thanks to it's great sites, excellent location that's close to lots of fun stuff to see and do, and the Parks amenities
  • River Bend Resort - Brownsville - a very well maintained and manicured RV Resort with lots and park models and garden homes for sale and RV sites for sale and rent, plus the have a great 18 hole golf course
  • Texas Trails RV Resort - Pharr - a huge RV resort with over 900 RV, Park Model, Trailer, and Mobile Home sites and lots of amenities
