Austin is home to lots of fun things to see and do and it's a great place to spend a vacation, exciting weekend, or just a few days. Austin is home to great shopping, excellent restaurants, several nearby wineries, lots of good music, arts and museums, B&Bs, campgrounds, and lots to see. Austin is home to the Capital of Texas, the University of Texas, Lake Austin, and plenty of attractions ranging from museums, to boat rentals, to zoos. It's also known as the Music Capital of Texas with tons of places that have live music ranging from blues to jazz to blue grass to Cajun to Texas Country with good 'ole Willie Nelson. There are also several entertainment districts, like 6th Street or the Warehouse district, that are loaded with fun and lively bars and good restaurants.
