approximately 6 miles west and 6 miles south of Burnet, Texas on Park Road 4, off US Hwy 281

Pedernales Falls State Park
32 miles west of Austin on US Hwy 290

Blanco State Park
south of Blanco, 40 miles north of San Antonio on US Highway 281

Kerrville-Schreiner State Park
3 miles southeast of Kerrville on State Hwy 16 to State Hwy 173 for 3 miles

Lost Maples State Natural Area
5 miles north of Vanderpool on Ranch Road 187

Hill Country State Natural Area
from Bandera, travel south on State Highway 173, go across the Medina River and continue for approximately 1/4 mile to State Highway 1077, turn right and go 10 miles on State Highway 1077 to end of the black top. Continue on the caliche road and follow the park signs to the park headquarters

13 miles southeast of downtown Austin off US Highway 183

South Llano River State Park
from Junction, south on US Hwy 377 5 miles to Park Road 73

Garner State Park
31 miles north of Uvalde, 9 miles south of Leakey, or 8 miles north of Concan on the Frio River

Lockhart State Park
south of Lockhart on US Highway 183

Palmetto State Park
travel 10 miles northwest of Gonzales on US 183 to FM 1586, then west on FM 1586 for two miles to Ottine, then south on Park Road 11; or go six miles southeast of Luling on US 183, then southwest on Park Road 11 for two miles
