El Paso Museum of Art
This museum, built in 1910, was originally the home of W. W. Turney.  The collection features outstanding examples of art by European and American masters as well as other priceless works. The museum is open Tue-Sat 9-5, Sun 1- 5. Located at 1211 Montana. 541-4040.

El Paso Zoo

The zoo, which comprises 18 acres of natural habitat exhibits, is home to over 175 species of animals, including many endangered species. Primary focus is animals of the Americas and Asia. Open daily from 9:30am to late afternoon. Located in central El Paso near the intersection of Highway 54 and Paisano, take I-10 to the Paisano exit, go southwest and follow the signs to the zoo entrance. Admission is $2 for adults and $1 for kids, call 544-1928.

Wilderness Park Museum
The Wilderness Park museum tells of man's adaptation to the desert environment. There is a mile long nature trail and great views of the mountains and valleys. Located at 4301 Transmountain Road near Highway 54 in Northeast El Paso. Open Tue- Sun 9-5. Call 755-4332.
