A ropes or challenge course is both a fun, exciting and challenging outdoor that is typically used for personal development and or team building. Most courses consist of high and low elements. Low elements take place on the ground or just a few feet above the ground while high elements are usually constructed in trees, platforms, or utility poles and require a belay for satiety reasons.
There are several challenge courses in Texas which offer a variety of challenges including zip lines, high and low rope courses, rappelling and climbing walls.
