Lake LBJ

Lake LBJ is a constant level 6,375 acre lake that is 21 miles long and has a maximum width of 10,800 feet. Lake LBJ offers boaters a little bit of everything: good skiing/boarding, ok fishing, plenty of lake rental property, a few resorts, full service marinas, swimming areas, boat rentals, and beautiful huge homes. The Colorado River arm of the lake is great for skiing/boarding and cruising but the farther upriver you go, the colder the water; the Llano River arm has some nice sandy beach areas; and the Sunrise Beach cove is good for skiing and swimming. Cruise by Horseshoe Bay to check out the huge waterfront homes.

Read the Texas Outside Review of Lake LBJ (rated 6.2 stars) and the Exploring Lake LBJ article to learn more about the lake and what to do. There is plenty to see and do near Lake LBJ.
