San Antonio has to be one of the most popular tourist cities in Texas because San Antonio has so many fun things to see and do during a vacation or just a weekend getaway. San Antonio offers you find fun attractions and amusements, great golf courses, fun nightlife, good restaurants, and lots more to see and do.   • River Walk - you can't leave San Antonio without doing something on the River Walk, which is most likely San Antonio's biggest and most welRiver Walk boat ride and restaurantsl known attraction. The San Antonio River Walk is a network of walkways along the banks of the San Antonio River, one story beneath downtown San Antonio. The River Walk is lined by bars, shops, and restaurants and you can walk for miles, ride the Rio Taxi riverboat, or charter a boat for a dinner, cocktail or a tour. for a great way to experience the river walk. They have partnered with many restaurants for a great dining event. Or you may try the river tours for a tour with entertaining narratives of the rich history of the San Antonio River.
  • San Antonio Nightlife -San Antonio pretty much has it all in the way of nightlife. From eclectic wine bars and tequila bars to comedy clubs, amazing live music venues and hot dance clubs. From Downtown to the Strip to the epicenter of San Antonio nightlife on the Riverwalk—where there are numerous bars all within walking distance—the Alamo City’s bar and club scene is definitely an experience. If you enjoy dueling pianos don't miss Howl At The Moon or for some country music try Flores Country Store in nearby Helotes.
  • Kid Fun - Ok, it's for more than just the kids - us old folks loved it and they don't get much bigger than Six Flags/Fiesta Texas where they have every kind of ride for every kind of rider. So whether you want to defy gravity, get soaked, or just go for a spin Six Flags is huge and offers it all including great entertainment for the whole family. And you can't leave without seeing Shamu at Sea World but they also have other shows, thrilling rides, exhibits, a big waterpark, and much much more.
  • More Attractions - Ripley's Believe It Or Not is always fun and you can see your favorite movie star, sports hero, or political figure in wax plus interactive themed exhibit floors and exhibits from around the world. Everybody knows about The Alamo which served as home to missionaries and their Indian converts for nearly seventy years and where 100 Texans bravely defended the Alamo against 1500 Mexicans. And San Antonio is home to several missions that are amazing. Tower of the Americas is a 650' tower that was built for the 1968 World's Fair and is now home to an observation tower offering outstanding 360 degree views of the Alamo City, a picture history of the area, and a revolving restaurant. In the base of the Tower of the Americas is a souvenir shop and a very interesting 4 D theater ride titled Skies over Texas.

  • Zoo - The San Antonio Zoo and Aquarium is ranked as one of the best zoos in the nation exhibiting over 3,500 animals of 600 species and encompasses over 35 landscaped acres.
  • Cultural - I know, some of these are indoors and it's hard for you outdoor enthusiasts to go indoors, but if it's raining or cold or if you need a break from the sun, then try exploring the Witte Museum, the Alamo Special Effects Theater, Texas Air Museum-Stinson Chapter, Spanish Governor's Palace, Botanical Gardens, or San Antonio Museum of Art.
