If you are heading to Waco, you need to enjoy some or all of the following:
- Cameron Park has 400 acres of lush vegetation along the Bosque and Brazos River and a number of fun things to do like 20 miles of trails for biking (beginner trails to challenging trails for the extreme mountain biker) or hiking; volleyball; horseshoes; disc golf; and picnic areas. There is also a paved trail along the river for walking and biking.
- Cameron Park Zoo is an outstanding 52 acre zoo with winding paths that lead to very well done exhibit
- Gather up some friends, family, or corporate associates and book a stay at Moon River Ranch - check it out for a wedding, corporate retreat, or reunion - very cool place
- Nighlife - enjoy some good country music and dancing at Wild West Club or play pool, video games, darts, and more at Crickets Grill and Drafthouse
- Waco has a couple good golf courses that are reasonably priced and fun to play, you can find the courses and Texas Outside golf course reviews on the Waco Golf Map
- Tour the historical homes or the Baylor University Campus
- Visit some of the local tourist attractions like the Dr Pepper Museum, Texas Ranger Hall of Fame & Museum, or Texas Sports Hall of Fame and a must for the kids is the Discovery Center at the Mayborn Museum Complex - adults will like the Mayborn Museum
- Enjoy dinner and music on the deck overlooking the Brazos River at Dock's Riverfront Restaurant or at any of the restaurants in Riversquare Center
- Take in a broadway musical, dance performance, or local production at the Waco Hippodrome Theater
- Spend some time on Lake Waco boating, camping, fishing, or just relaxing
