Texas has hundreds of lakes with some big fish of all kinds just waiting for your hook - the challenge is finding them. That's why you need to call one of the fishing guides that specialize in knowing where the record fish are hiding on any of the following lakes. Once you decide on which lake, we'll help you easily find a fishing guide, check out their website, credentials, and view some of their catches, and then book a trip.

Before you head out, check out Texas Parks & Wildlife Weekly Fishing Report. You can find out what's biting on more than 90 freshwater lakes and saltwater bays. Reports are updated each week, usually by Thursday morning. There are three ways to view reports:

1. View this week's reports for all freshwater or saltwater locations.
2. Find this week's reports for your part of Texas.
3. Find current and past reports for your favorite body of water or location.
