- Irving - clearly one of the best resorts that we have stayed at. The service is top notch and unequalled, the amenities are outstanding, the accommodations are great, and there are options for casual to fine dining. Some of the amenities include: two outstanding golf courses, indoor and outdoor tennis courts, squash and racquetball courts, a state of the art fitness center, four pools, and more.

Great Wolf Lodge Review - Grapevine - Great Wolf Lodge howled into Grapevine and opened it's doors in 2007 and since then it has been receiving rave reviews. If you're looking for someplace special to treat your kids because they've been on their best behavior or somewhere to take the kids for a special occasion like a birthday, then Great Wolf Lodge is a fantastic choice. Kids from two to sixteen are going to have a blast at Great Wolf Lodge.

Tanglewood Resort and Conference Center Review - Lake Texoma - Sitting on a bluff above beautiful Lake Texoma is a resort with excellent accommodations, lots of amenities, easy access to a fun lake, and a championship 18 hole golf course. Enjoy some very good cuisine, partake in a wide variety of recreational activities, and play a championship 18 hole golf course. Located about 80 miles north of Dallas or DFW airport makes Tanglewood an easy place to escape for a weekend or week long vacation.

White Bluff Resort - Lake Whitney - what a great place to spend a weekend boating, golfing, playing tennis, or just enjoying a weekend away from work. White Bluff Resort sits on a bluff overlooking beautiful Lake Whitney and the White Bluff marina has guest boat slips as well as rental boats. The lodging is outstanding with several different options, the restaurant is great, and you've got 36 holes of very good golf to enjoy.

Westin Stonebriar - Frisco - if you have never stayed in a Westin, then you need to give the Westin Stonebriar a try - great service, excellent food, good amenities, and those fantastic "heavenly beds.". Located in Frisco, the Westin Stonebriar is perfect for a weekend escape, a business meeting, wedding, or a golf outing. You're in the heart of Frisco which lots of fun things to see and do and you have access to play the outstanding Tom Fazio designed course at Stonebriar Country Club.

- Possum Kingdom Lake - if you like fantastic golf, spa services, rooms with a view one of the prettiest lakes in Texas, good food, and friendly Texas style hospitality, then you need to check out The Cliffs Resort & Spa. The golf course is a Texas Outside Favorite because it offers golfers a chance to test their skills and patience, has some of the most scenic and unique holes in Texas, and the best par 3's around. And the amenities are excellent - a great spa, very good food, a variety of accommodations, a marina with boat rentals, tennis courts, pool, exercise room, and very reasonable rates - all on a beautiful lake!

Crown Colony Country Club
Crown Colony Country Club Review - Lufkin - a semi-private country club Crown Colony has 13 Villas that are available for rent for a weekend or longer. The Villas were completely renovated in 2005with all new furniture, carpets, and more. They will sleep four and are perfect for a small family, golfing buddies or close friends who don't mind sharing a bedroom. We found the Villas to be comfortable, very clean, nicely appointed, and well furnished.

Lakeway Resort & Spa - Austin/Lake Travis - sitting on a bank overlooking Lake Travis, Lakeway Resort is home to beautiful sunsets, a outstanding 3 tier pool plus a kids pool and waterslide, fitness center, good food, excellent friendly service, recreational activities on Lake Travis, comfortable rooms, and lots to see and do on Lake Travis as well as in Austin

JW Marriott Resort & Spa - San Antonio - wow, this is one impressive new resort which opened in 2010. Perched on a bluff in the rolling scenic hill country of north San Antonio, the building, grounds, and views are spectacular. The JW Marriott has very comfortable resort type rooms and suites, an unbelievable sports bar with a 120' jumbo screen, an outstanding $15 million 6 acre water park, a spa, two fitness centers, and two very good restaurants. And as a resort guest you can play two of the best courses in Texas. And the JW Marriott is just minutes from downtown San Antonio.
Hyatt Regency Hill Country Spa & Resort Review - San Antonio - The Hyatt Hill Country is located about 25 minutes northwest of downtown San Antonio and was built to blend into and take advantage of the original ranch land. They give you the feel that you're in the country and far away from the hustle and bustle of city life. The Hyatt offers a rustic yet elegant Texas motif with exposed wood beams, wood-trimmed porches, huge stone fireplaces, and country brown leather furniture - all of which give you that pure Texas look and feel.

Hyatt Regency Lost Pines Resort Review - Bastrop - Situated on the banks of the Colorado river, this is a premier resort in a rustic setting and a remote escape from the hectic city living. Frio Country Resort - Frio River/Concan - situated in some of the prettiest Hill Country in Texas, Frio Country Resort offers a very wide selection of lodging for a weekend getaway or a week long vacation.
