Lantana Golf CourseLantana Golf ClubOne of the highlights of the community is the Lantana Golf Club and a number of the homes and a few available home sites line this spectacular 18 hole semi-private course designed by Jay & Carter Morrish. The Lantana Golf Club is one of twelve courses in the United States to host the PGA Tour State 3 Qualifying School and better yet, they were selected as one of six courses in the United States to host Stage 2 - if this is where the pros play to qualify for the PGA Tour, you know it is a good course. Lantana Golf Club has won a number of other accolades including "#2 Golf Course in the Metroplex" according to Avid Golfer Magazine and in 2008, Lantana made the Dallas Morning New's list of the "Best Top 25 Most Expensive Courses."

Lantana Golf Club offers you a little bit of everything that makes golf enjoyable - some very fun and challenging holes, fairways and greens that are in excellent condition, rolling hills and some beautiful scenery, plenty of water, and soft fluffy white sand bunkers! At 7,147 yards from the tips with a slope of 130 and a rating of 74.6, Lantana will challenge the expert players, while the average golfers will find the course very playable from the other four tee boxes. Strategically placed steep faced bunkers (90 of them!), mounds and grass swales, water on 7 holes, and the fast greens make for a very enjoyable round of golf.
